On April 5, 1914, the Women’s
Association was inaugurated. The organization’s support in the Today, the organization’s role in the Other activities: Fundraisers, Membership is open to the woman members/affiliates
of Koyasan. $5.00 annual dues. |

Young Adult Buddhist
Association (YABA) |
Members
of the YABA are actively involved in supporting the Activities:
New Year Get-Together, Pancake Breakfast, Fundraisers, Membership
is open to members/affiliates of Koyasan who are
under 65 years of age. The
organization also serves as an umbrella for the Junior Young Buddhist
Association. |

The Koyasan
Taiko Group is a Buddhist group that uses Taiko as a means of understanding
Buddhist principles. The training has a spiritual component with a focus on
learning about oneself through drumming. Emphasis is placed on discipline, focus,
individual growth, and teamwork. The group
and instructions will begin on October 5th. Classes will be held at 6:00 pm –
7:30 pm every Friday evenings. Children, 7 years and older, are also welcome
to take lessons. See
