Temple Improvement Fund
Koyasan Beikoku Betsuin of Los Angeles thanks all who have contributed to the Temple lmprovement Fund during the recent membership drive. The funds are to help maintain and renovate the Temple's building and property. Donation from the estate of the Late Mrs. Mieko Fujioka was used to establish the Fund.
Monies from the Fund are currently being used to repair the Temple's roof. This is a large project that involves fixing the roof's structure. For the past years, the temple suffered from rain leakage. Mr. Edward Takahashi is overseeing the roof project. Another project is renovation of the basement classrooms. New flooring has been installed.
Aside from the roof and basement projects, the Temple has a wish list of repairs, renovations and improvements. The Temple hopes to raise $500,000 to cover the costs. One of the items is installing a stair chair lift. This will make the upstairs Daishi-Do more accessible to our older members. The current Wish List is summarized below.
The Temple asks for your continual support in contributing to the Temple lmprovement Fund.
